I. Cellular BiologyA cell is the smallest functional unit of a living organism. In the center of the cell lies the nucleus. The cell is either prokaryotic or eukaryotic. Cells are considered the basic units of life because cells split over and over again until a complete human is formed with organ and organ systems. Without cells there would be no life on earth.
II. How big are objects in the biological world? What i learned was that there are things that the naked eye cannot see. We need microscopes to see cells, but there are further smaller things than cells.
III. Levels of Organization
An atom is the smallest unit of an element that still keeps the elements properties. Two or more atoms join to form molecules. A cell is the smallest unit that can reproduce by itself. A tissue consist of certain types of cells. An organ consist of two or more tissues interacting in some task. Organs interact physically, chemically, or both in an organ system. Cells are organized as tissues, organs, and organ systems. A population is a group of single-celled individuals of the same species taking up space in an area. The biosphere encompasses all of earth and holds organisms.

IV. Types of CellsEukaryotic cells have a nucleus. They also have more than one chromosome. Prokaryotic cells are usually unicellular. They also have bacteria and archaea. Both cells have DNA and RNA.
